Anyhow, GIB's 3♠ bid goes along with it's explanation but why bid it with this garbage and then why jump to 5♦? Most of us use 3S to ask for a stopper for 3NT. What is with this crazy bidding? It appears it has defined its previous pass as 0-2 points. If it passes again, it describes that as 0 points. Probably has a rule that with support and a "maximum", keep the bidding alive. It's not clear to me why GIB didn't bid 6NT, or at least 6♦ with 2 points since there are 34+ points. Now some people may look at the auction where one opponent had enough to open the bidding, and the other opponent showed 10-11 HCP and come to the conclusion that partner can't have a 32 point hand.
