gszes Posted September 11, 2019 Report Share Posted September 11, 2019 IMHO GIB constantly has "expectations" that hamper its ability to bid. A small change in "thinking" would go a long way toward alleviating these problems. ONCE GIB has LIMITED it's hand (ie the previous bid showed 12-) instead of anticipating what gib feels should be happening how about treating all bids below game as invitational and asking gib to proceed or even cue bid IF they are close to the top of their previously stated range. This idea should only occur when there is a trump fit (since gib jumps to stupid slams only in suit contracts). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
