johnu Posted August 4, 2019 Report Share Posted August 4, 2019 Evaluating West's hand, after you add 4 or 5 points for the club void, 3 or 4 for the heart singleton, 3 or 4 for the 8 card spade suit, you are almost good enough to open 2♣ B-) After all the adjustments, West has enough to jump to 8♠ opposite a 2♣ opener but conservatively bid only 7♠.
