J Li
When playing at a partnership bidding table, you are able to see your partners alerts and explanations. Could you add the option to not show this when starting a table?
barmar
Why would you type explanations at a bidding table in the first place? There are no opponents, who are you alerting?
J Li
Why would you type explanations at a bidding table in the first place? There are no opponents, who are you alerting? I´m practising with various pairs and would like to see the explanations myself (as a kibitzer/table host), it makes following the bidding much easier. J Li
Of course, to just never show the explanations to partner (instead of giving a choice) would also work fine for me.
DozyDom
I don't know if this would be efficient, but you could get players to message you with explanations of bids if there's no alternative.

Chat doesn´t get logged, so I would have to manually write down the explanations for further reference. I have also tried using a teaching table. You can´t see your partners explanation, which is great. But when you redeal after the bidding has finished, the players don´t get to see the full distribution, and you can´t save the deal. So this doesn´t work for me either.
paulg
I suspect this is not going to be changed, if only due to its low priority. The Partnership Bidding area is for practice and communication between partners is the norm and to be expected. Anything that compromises this, even if just an option, would probably get more complaints. The real alternative is to play at a regular table and encourage chat between partners.
