Redbird44
I have become aware that when you sub for a team game, even if there are just one or two tricks left to play, and even when you are only playing the last board, you will get the loss. Apparently, the players who play the whole match and then leave just because they are behind, stick the subs who are nice enough to finish the match, with a loss. (I don't know if they also get a loss or not.) This seems unfair to me and I think it must make finding subs for teams difficult. How hard would it be to fix this? pescetom
I've no idea, but I don't think the topic belongs under Laws and Rulings.

Gerardo
BBO reports the team match as played by the players sitting in the last board. Almost all BBO team matches have no further consequence after the match is over. What's the point of having a count of win/loss here? There are some online competitions using BBO as a medium, of several seriousness.they come up with their own mathods of manage missing people and scorekeeping. barmar
In tournaments that award points, the points are given to the player that played the majority of the boards when a player is replaced with a sub. Team games don't currently give points, so no special consideration is given to the number of boards that were played. I think the results are simply shown with the players that were seated when the game ends. It doesn't really mean anything to say that a particular player "gets the loss".
