what is going to happen now that MS Edge may go a form of open source using a chrome engine I believe. I was reading that it would be the end of

edge html which I what I assume the preview version of bbo is. Just curious

There's nothing in BBO that's tied specifically to Edge. It's generic HTML5 + JavaScript, as well as Cordova for the mobile app.
