Stephen Tu Posted May 22, 2018 Report Share Posted May 22, 2018 So after some investigation: 1. GIB opens 2s at other vulnerabilities. At this vulnerability apparently it wants the S9 in addition. A little weird IMO but whatever, I suppose 3/top 6 is the rule??. 2. Whatever rule that used to exist telling it to bid 2S with good spades and 6-9/6-10 pts doesn't seem to be triggering anymore, when North has 1h/3d. It doesn't matter how good I make North's spades it won't ever bid 2S. Even if I gave it 8 cd spades (8=1=3=1) it was passing 2d. But once it gets strong enough to bid 3S it will bid 3S. It only seems to find 2S on some other red suit distributions where passing 2d makes no sense whatsoever. This needs to be fixed. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
