Playing with Turkish Players

Recommended Posts

I have several Turkish players I enjoy playing with. Their profile written English is compatible with my system, however so many do not say what they play over opp nt. I often ask - " DONT or CAPP?" and get no response because of language difference. What is the Turkish translation for those two systems? Thanks so much.

Turkish players are excellent (even if they take that for granted ;-) compared to the average on BBO.

But I doubt that many habitually play Cappelletti or DONT, both are pretty much local to USA.

Multilandy is common in SE Europe, similar to Cappelletti but (more rationally) it inverts the first two replies, and the six card suit is usually major only.

Having said that, I leave it to our Turkish friends to explain what they play.
