apollo1201
MPs, all red, partner deals and opens a strong (15-17) NT. You have the odd-looking collection: AKxxxxKKT9xxx How do you bid, how high are you ok going? Same if IMPs where 5C isn’t such an avoided spot? FWIW, we play that 2S followed by 3NT shows a singleton D (if 6322 and GF values, just raise) and is obviously NF. Usually a low one, though. Bigger hands auto-splinter if they fear partner passes 3NT.

wank
i'd just show clubs and sign off in 3nt.
steve2005
i'd just show clubs and sign off in 3nt.If when you show clubs opener can show good support for clubs i will show clubs.Without that possibility I will bid 3NT straight and not tell opponents to lead ♦ when they might not otherwise. ggwhiz
Our methods are not good for this one but 2nt (xfer) - 3♣ - 3nt is a mild slam try and if partner is interested we would cue from there and can stop in 4nt or rarely 5nt in a pinch. pescetom
Looks no big problem even at MP. I bid 2♠ transfer to ♣ and if partner completes it 3♣ then just rebid 3NT. If he super-accepts with 2NT then either we control-bid or (in this case) I bid 4♦ Kickback to ask for the missing aces and Q♣ and K♥. If he is missing two aces we can still stop in 5♣ or even 4NT.
