Unfortunately for me, a singleton was all it needed to decide it liked them.Anything speculative with GIBBO is recipe for disaster. I had similarly 2d-2S and GIBBO raised to 4S with stiff spade. I don't think one should have to have a suit that plays well in game opposite a singleton in order to be able to bid 3♥. What's the point of bidding 3♥ at all if that's the case? I could just bid 4♥ since the chances GIB has a void in hearts are rather small. In fact, North holds 1.6 hearts on average and a void only about 14% of the time. If 3♥ isn't asking if North has more hearts than average then I don't know what it means. Give South AJxxxx of hearts and everything else the same and 5♦ has play while 4♥ is completely hopeless.
