jfnrl
SEF2S is a two-weak 6cS 8-11HCP2S (X) 3DIf undiscussed, what is the standard meaning of 3D ? :natural forcingnatural non forcingraise (forcing to 3S at least) + good suit (at least KQxxx)raise + lead directing (AKx, etc...)Thank you for your answer
Tramticket
For us it is natural and forcing. It is a matter for partnership discussion and agreement - some play non-forcing but constructive or even non-forcing and weak. I think that non-forcing can be better if your weak-two bids are often below normal expectations.
NickRW
IMO, Nat + forcing if partner is an un-passed hand. If partner has passed, raise + leading directing

Tramticket
Both of these answers seem to be ignoring the double. Yes, our agreement is that we largely ignore the double and our natural bids continue to be constructive after the double. The exception is that a redouble shows a strong mis-fitting hand and willingness to defend.

Exactly how we play it too, except that for us the new suit is only semi-forcing (can be passed with a minimal hand and no good bid). However I have found that it works pretty well to retain a 2NT enquiry after a double. I think you could probably bundle your strong 1-suiters into your redouble.

To be honest, I play a multi in my main partnership. I prefer to keep things simple and consistent when I play a weak-two with my other regular partner (my wife), since she doesn't like to many system complications. :)
