In GLOBBY's Addled Bidding World it will always takeout when is weak-ish and/or shapley-ish as is the case here. When there is competition d at 2 level after 1c are still 4+ 4+ with no extra strength. Stephen Tu Posted March 26, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 If the reverse doesn't show extras, then at least I think the ranges for responder's 2nt/3nt ought to be fixed. Right now 2nt is 13HCP exactly, 3nt is 14-21. Those seem unwieldy and leave no room for responder's 10-12. Perhaps 2nt should be 10-12-, 3nt = 13-15, stronger cue bids? Also I still have to question bidding a forcing 2d instead of NF 2 clubs especially with such great clubs. While 3c is probably safe opposite most redouble hands, on rare occasions will go down 1?
