Vugraph 21 days in a row!

Good news for vugraph freaks: 21 consecutive days of broadcast from May 3! An everyday occurence that will please most members. BBO is now covering all major events all over the world.

England, Norway, USA (Cavendish and USBF Team Trials), Morocco, New Zealand, Scotland, Estonia, Germany, Italy and Poland in May. Most of those events are listed at

http://online.bridgebase.com/vugraph/schedule.php

and more will be added as we go along.

The USBF Team Trials in Houston and the African Zonal Teams Championship in Morocco are particularly remarkable: 30 sessions of 15 boards from Houston and 14 sessions of 20 boards from Casablanca! As far as Houston is concerned it is quite amazing to note that in 16 of the sessions (quarter-finals and semi-finals) we will be broadcasting from 4 tables!

Apart from English as a standard procedure, French will be one of our languages from Morocco, mixed Scandinavian will be added from Norway, and Polish from Poland of course.

Welcome on our journey around the globe everyone!

is there a plan to do anyting from the 43rd PABF Championships in Seoul? June 24th to July 3rd I think.

We haven't been contacted regarding that event. We need an official approach from the organisers. If you know who the convenor is, you are welcome to get in touch with him and make him send me an e-mail at roland_waldAThotmail.com (with a copy to fredATbridgebase.com).

If the organisers are interested, we will be happy to host the event, and I will send our standard vugraph guidelines.

In the meantime I have been told that we actually contacted the organisers about 5 months ago and told them that they are welcome to have the event on BBO. We never got anything back, so it must be fair to say that the ball is in their half of the pitch now.

The PABF Championships would be a really interesting event to have on BBO, so if anyone reading this thread happens to be in Seoul it would great for all of us if you could have a go at undertaking BBO coverage of the event. I'm more than happy to provide technical support and advice from afar.

The event website is http://kcbl.org/pabf2005/main_pabf_info.htm which includes contact details for the organising committee.

uh Roland they already have the package from Fred apparently (chairman mentioned something about a password) spoke with Chairman today - strongly urged him to put you in the loop. Anyway it's a go as far as KCBL is concerned. Anyway I have colunteered to what ever I can to make it happen. mrdct sounds like an offer one can't refuse - may I pass that along to the organizers?
