I don't think there is any easy way to do this now, but it is part of our plan for "phase 3" of "help me find a game!". Phase 1 is now in the testing stage. You can check it out by upgrading to 4.2.4. You can do this through:

I don't know when phases 2 and 3 of this project will be done, but I hope it will be in no more than a month. It could be much faster than that. No promises!

A trick is to have the player who is first in the alphabet host. If no one comes, tell the lobby that you are looking for opponents. Using this strategy I never have to look long for opponents.

Advertising in the Lobby for opps will become effective when the new version kicks in. It will a one right click solution to reach the Table.

Right now it is a bit tedious to reach the Table in question in response to the Advt.

So, finding opps is going to be very easy

Great! I will be kind of a help find 'us' a table? You give the name of your partner when using this new functionality?

This would really be an added value!

kgr:

What is the easiest way to play bridge in the main bridge club together with you regular partner, without creating a new table (sometimes long wait if more then one empty seat...is this still true?)?
I usually do it like this: I tell my partner sit down at a table with 2 empty seats. I change the main bridge club view settings to only show tables with friends. This way, when my partner sits down I immediately see that table and can click on the other seat. There are only rare cases where this method fails, mainly because at a permission-required-table I do not get permission.

But no problem if it fails - just try again. Finding a table this way ususally is faster than opening a new table and wait for opps.
