How about compare it with MOSCITO ??Thkx all!The website of this system: http://w1.836.telia.com/~u83607519/carrot/magic.html I played Magic Diamond for a couple years before switching over to MOSCITO. Its a decent enough system, however, I don't think that the response structure puts enough pressure on the opponents. Following Magic Diamond's 8 - 11 HCP limited opening bids, the Swede's use transfer responses to sort out strong and weak hands. However, this means that bids like 1H - 2C are forcing. In contrast, playing MOSCITO, a 2C response to a 1H opening is natural and non-forcing. Thisputs enormous pressure on the opponent in direct seat who is forced to try to describe many more hands types than he would after a transfer response. A LOT of my best results playing MOSCITO are driven by the opponent's miscalculations in this position. I'd hate to ever give it up.
