On my iPad, if I put "Confirm Cards" on, as I like to do when on a touch screen, it's really buggy to play dummy's cards when I'm declarer.I have to constantly click off and on the screen to get them to play. I usually have to go to "History" then back again to get it to acknowledge the click. The next version (coming soon I hope) will contain fixes to the problems you mention (among other things).
