1. I am quite SURE 3+ D was not in the description I saw when I moused over the 4NT. Is this possible where I see something at the table but is not reproduced in the hand later. This has happened now about 3 times. If so, GIBBO is overworked.

2. More significant is the 5d is 17-18 "points". Given what I saw in 1. above I just gritted my teeth or is it grit my teeth and bid 5D fearing the worst. Who knows whether the result is what it should be.

So 5♥ is -1 and 6♦ is -1. 5♥ could easily be making as could 6♦.

I see nothing wrong with what Gib ultimately did other than the result.

4N a bit bizarre, surely 5♦ is right why offer a choice? Is 4N trying to set up a force?!

Correct Steve. My concern is not the result as much as the description of the 4NT which I don't remember now but quite sure it was not 3+d. And then my 5d described as 15-17 "points"
