Good thing it gave an encouraging signal though.

 

Is the GIB system supposed to be encouragement or count? I thought the signal was supposed to be count in which case GIB gave the wrong count.

 

Maybe GIB didn't bother playing high because the description of the last double showed rebiddable , KQ. If GIB believes the description and not the actual cards held, covering when holding KQ would make no difference.

I know your posts aren't normally intended to be serious, but if you / anyone else wasn't aware, "KQ" means at least 6 points on the 8-4-2-1 scale. So it shows either the A, or K + Q.

I knew this but I think it is very unfair on those who don't. Why don't the explanations simply reflect what is actually shown by the bid?
