frank0
I set up the KO pairing in "R16,QF", take a look at it, you can start (4 sets, each set 16 boards, IMP, best hand). Try to finish each round approximately in 1 week (OK to delay a little). Frank

Stephen Tu
When robot goes off the rails in the bidding, with these forum challenges as well as normal bbo tourneys you just have to live with it regardless of result. Your opp if made same previous bids faces same problem. If they chose differently, part of the challenge is trying to avoid sequences the robot has trouble with just as you would with a weaker human partner. Hopefully over the course of the challenge, the screwed by robot boards will roughly even out so it gets to be a wash. But do report the board in the robot forum so that descriptions and bids and other bugs hopefully get fixed eventually.

Clearly the problem is that the description of the bid is backwards. It says it's a splinter, so it should have said 4+♥ 1-♦. The way the robot bidding database is designed, the criteria for making a bid and the description of what the bid shows are entered separately, so it's up to the programmer to make sure they're consistent with each other, and sometimes mistakes happen. This disconnect is by design -- sometimes you need to shave the criteria (e.g. 1m-1M-2M ostensibly shows 4-card support, but occasionally it will be made with only 3). Luckily, it's easy to fix these types of mistakes. A little harder will be to adjust the logic so it doesn't splinter in partner's suit -- I'm not sure that's good bridge. BTW, a reverse should show that your first suit is longer than the second, you shouldn't do it with 4-4.
broze
BTW, a reverse should show that your first suit is longer than the second, you shouldn't do it with 4-4. What would you bid? 2NT? I would bid the same way as leeky when partnering a bot (at least as far as the reverse). I won't risk missing a heart game when P is 5S 4H weak.
