If playing at an EBU club which has not specified a level, is there a level which is deemed to be in operation? It is for clubs to make their own decisions, either to follow one of the Levels, to vary one of them in some way, or to make their own regulations entirely. Unfortunately many clubs don't do this until they encounter a problem that highlights their lack of regulation. I think it's a good idea for clubs to adopt one of the Levels and say that the White Book regulations apply unless the club has a different regulation to cover the situation. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think Charles Goren must be turning in his grave to think that the gentlefolk of this lovely country have now adopted the Rule of 18 in their bridge clubs.
