She knew that my 2NT was showing the other two suits, but lost confidence when I tried again!If you are willing to go to the 5 level unilaterally why not do so immediately over 1♠? That makes life much more uncomfortable for the opps. In any case -350 is not the end of the world when the opps have 24hcp and a double-fit. But, looking at this again, just from the OP's own hand with a spade void and a 7-count, opps on average have a spade fit, 22 HCP, and plenty of distribution to make 4♠. How would people here interpret (and choose among) 4♠ (both Michaels and top-and-bottom), 4NT, and 5♣ after the p-(1d)-p-(1s)? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
