mr1303
The hands could fit well, or they could not. I suppose partner could pass 1H with real dross, but 3H isn't safe. Also when vul partner will accept easily, and that might not be good, so I shall pass cautiously.

The_Badger
With 5-4-2-2 shape the hand isn't crying out for another bid as it stands. Exchange the ♦ and ♠ suits, and I would venture (hesitantly) 3♣.
wank
i'd have a go. the opps' haven't bid. that suggests partner has spades in which case our hand is fitting well. i'd just bid 3H. general try. bidding 3C would be a big mistake. ahydra
My instinct is to pass, particularly if partner often raises with 3 here. ahydra

Winstonm
Imps, 4th seat open and raise instead of pass. I'm taking another bid.
rmnka447
At MP, I think pass would absolutely clear. But at IMPs, where bidding thin vulnerable games is a winning strategy, I'm making a try. So, 2 NT or 3 ♥ whichever is the power invitational raise.
nige1
[hv=pc=n&s=sqthqjt8d96ca6432&d=e&v=b&b=10&a=ppp1dp1hp2hp]133|200|2/1 IMP pairs[/hv]I rank3♥ = INV. 6-7 losers. Partner's 4th-in-hand opener is likely to be sound. Partner would pass your 1♥ reply with only 3 ♥s. It is reasonable to stretch for game, at IMPs, hoping for at least ♠ K x x ♥ x x x x ♦ A K x x ♣ K xPass = NAT. For game to be a good bet, you need to cherry-pick opener's hand,
gszes
If the spade T were the J I would try 3c (hsgt) at any form of scoring. Qx (the T is just a bonus) vs QJ just does not seem like enough to keep me from trying for game at imps especially when p opened 1d increasing the odds of avoiding the suit with a loser I hope to pitch on spades. That huge bonus for making a vulnerable game has forced me to go down in many partials in a fruitless effort to find a vul game nugget. Ah well perhaps the next 1000 years will bring me more luck. cherdano
particularly if partner often raises with 3 here.Isn't raising on 3 quite rare after a 4th seat opening? Partner would often pass with 3 hearts.
gwnn
interesting, game is also good on xx of spades. A typical hand where I'd mistime ruffs/drawing trumps, so maybe I'm better off passing. :)
relknes
A lot depends on your opening style. If you expect partner to have sound values for a vulnerable, 4th seat, minor suit opening, then I would think it is worth a game try. I would probably try 2N in my regular partnership, or 3♥ with someone new.
RedSpawn
Pass 8 loser hand mostly Quacks, partner needs perfect hand for any play of gameAgreed. Mostly quacks in this hand is an instant downgrade and QT♠ rates as a dubious doubleton with a worthless ♦ doubleton. Rest at part score as game is unlikely since this hand has too many defects. Jinksy
I would pass since I'm not a very good declarer.
