1eyedjack
I realise that MBC tables are the lowest of the low, but I still think some basic elements of courtesy are appropriate. If a pair is registered to play in a tourney and is in the meantime "biding their time" at an MBC table, you perhaps might expect them to notify the opponents that they may imminently depart in the middle of a hand (indeed most probably in the middle of a hand). It could of course be a hand in which they were about to gain, but if they happened to be riding for a fall it is somewhat galling on the other pair if they up and leave with no prior warning. Human courtesy aside, the software could make life a little more helpful in this regard, by (for example) inserting a count-down clock by their name to indicate when they are expected to be autobooted (by reference to the tourney scheduled start time). OK, OK, more interface clutter ... ain't gonna happen.
