Phil
J962KT63Q6352 A83Q84AJ5QJ98 Last match, A/X swiss. You guys lead 87 to 84 to team you are playing. Very tough team with a midwest pro / client at your table and one of the best pairs in LA at the other. Auction 1c 1h 1n Pro leads the sK. You glance at their card and Ace is power lead and Q from KQT9. RHO plays the 7 (udca). You win and.... Continuations later. Thanks
gszes
I would like to lead toward the club 89 but I need a couple of dummy entries to accomplish this w/o weakening my overall position so who knows where this is going but at trick 2 I will lead a heart to the ten and see what happens. xavierf
I would play the HQ, and later use the Hearts and spade entry to play towards the clubs.
Phil
It didnt seem right to me to play on hearts. While ill need to spade for the heart winners ill also need the heart entry for the long spade. However, why should we show the hQ at time? If LHO wins the spade, I might get a heart shift. Therefore I played the spade 8 right back. Low from LHO. Float, 9 or J?
