jeffford76
Sorry, played a couple of these early in the week and forgot to post: jeffford76/nekthen 4-6 http://webutil.bridgebase.com/v2/tview.php?t=ARDCHALLENGE:a5c2cd8a.de73.11e6.90ac.0cc47a39aeb4-1484849896&u=jeffford76jeffford76/xbabarx 4-6 http://webutil.bridgebase.com/v2/tview.php?t=ARDCHALLENGE:a5c2cd8a.de73.11e6.90ac.0cc47a39aeb4-1484849896&u=jeffford76jeffford76/dadim 5.5-4.5 http://webutil.bridgebase.com/v2/tview.php?t=ARDCHALLENGE:4f1b708b.e312.11e6.90ac.0cc47a39aeb4-1485357845&u=jeffford76 I played my boards against zenoo yesterday in a challenge they started, but they haven't finished. barmar
Edit: double post, sep123 won by 4 minutes. group 2 is now complete.I assume "minutes" was a typo, but it just gave me the humorous idea that when there are ties, we could break them by getting the time it took each player to play the hands. I'm definitely not suggesting this, it has some real problems.
m1cha
I assume "minutes" was a typo,Actually not. Veryfy sent me the result by PN but the PN system changed the '='s to '-'s, so the link didn't work initially, and when I had finally figured out what the problem was and posted the result here, I noticed sep123 had posted it just 4 minutes earlier, 18:46 vs. 18:50. Phil
We gonna wrap up by 1/28? Felt like an eternity to play the group matches but i guess not.

Wackojack
I responded to this challenge again completing 10 boards ignoring that Jkr had played 3 boards against my earlier 10. I thought this would be easier than arguing as I have nothing to play for. wackojack 6 Jkr_1993 4 http://webutil.bridgebase.com/v2/tview.php?t=ARDCHALLENGE:54f64110.e474.11e6.ab15.0cc47a39aeb4-1485509897&u=Wackojack

ovncylmz
Thanks. We have so many people who just clicked "YES" to join the tournament - it was a big mistake (at least imo) to use a poll for registration and also to make 5 groups of 11! I have been done for 10-11 days right now, and I completely agree with you on the fact that it goes very slow. However, I think we are doing a great job for the given the set of players and the tournament structure. Believe me, I literally contacted people personally in BBO and made them complete their matches one by one, because the point adjustment stuff will be ugly and potentially very unfair for some. Anyway, I think Frank is planning to just help next time, and I am going to take control. I have a few radical changes in my mind, the current pace is so slow for some of us, it is not the best thing to complete each tournament in 5-6 weeks. But for some others, we go too fast. So I offer the following: FAST EVENT - CHALLENGE CUP (Will be invitational, you may get in based on your earlier play or by reference of those players who are in + earlier slow players will not get in for sure): For people who can follow the forum as frequent as every 48 hours, complete the group stage in 3-4 days maximum and can finish 64 boards KO in 2-3 days (on average). We potentially wrap up every event in 2-2.5 weeks. REGULAR EVENT - CHALLENGE LEAGUE (Open): Two times 16 boards per week, possibly a long Swiss/Danish format (yes, we announce two matches at a single time except last few weeks) or even a Round-Robin. I will get some feedback when current tournament reaches to Quarter final stage.
