smerriman
any idea why "advanced" robot responds 1s-1nt with Ax AQJxxx Jx xxx?It only bids 2/1 with 13+ HCP. Doesn't even consider that worth more than a balanced 12HCP either, since it only adds shortness points, and not for Ax or Jx :(

I made 9 bids all set, while my opponent made 10.
Mkgnao
Unfortunately, I sent chuck11 a challenge for the 4th set with the box 'best hand' checked. Apparently you can't delete challenge requests with persons marked as friend yourself, so I have to wait for chuck11 to reject the request and issue the correct one himself. Of course, I immediately sent him a message in-game so hopefully he won't play the wrong boards.

chuck11
In reference to Mkgnao's above post, I cannot decline the challenge either, I tried. Sent a message to support, the answer is either play it out or wait until it expires. The real problem is our inability to have more than a single challenge active. I know I was able to have 4 simultaneous challenges active in the previous KOs (#4), and I had multiple challenges active in the elimination rounds of this event. There is something squirrelly between my account and Mkgnao's. If waiting the challenge out delays us too much, I will concede for the sake of moving the tournament along, I'm down around 50, so it would take some heroics to get back in the match with a single set left. Just go down 7nt x -13 in every hand, will take like less than 5 minutes. Then send a new one.Same for mkgnao.

Thanks for the game Frank. I felt you were hard done by on a few big swings over the match. EDIT: Board 1 did make me chuckle though. The bot believed his partner's signal and underlead AKQ♣ trying to get a ruff.

He apologizes but he can't complete his challenges (not sure where he was at). I've sent him a suggestion on how to bypass this IP block, but not sure it'll work for him so if no sign from him it's because he can't get to BBO. Gordon is up by plenty from the first three, ca. 50 imps, so he would be going through if he was online. Can the comish advise what to do?
