This hand is from 8-board mp Arena Challenges.

After 5 to answer my blackwood asking bid, I really have no way to confirm it is zero or 3 hey cards in its hand, only return to 5.

However I have to say that " 6 - Correct back " is a necessary obligation to partner for north Gib.

(Note actually I am at south seat.)

Well, you do know North has 3 key cards, but I have noticed that corrections haven't been happening. On this hand, you have 19 HCP, if you are missing AAK, partner would have at most 10HCP. Possible I suppose, but x JTxxxx KQJ QJx doesn't look like an opening bid.

Thank you for your good reply.http://www.bridgebase.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

However, Helgemo had ever said that guess is a worst part of this game.

Now let me try, then Gib will tell you correct answer.

How about it?

Just to play devil's advocate -if you don't want to bid the slam because you think there is a chance (albeit very small) that Gib has 0 keycards, doesn't Gib have an identical excuse that there is a chance (albeit very small) that you have 0 keycards?

The first virtually requires Gib to have every point but the aces - the second requires you to - eg:

KQJx

Qxx

KQJ

KQJ

You could even take away a jack or two.

Is the correct intermediate bid, 3H or can you cue even?
