ovncylmz
Any reason not to start the quarters as they become available? Let's start Saturday the earliest:) I wouldn't mind but it may be difficult to follow stages. Also consolation event starts tomorrow. ovncylmz
People who lose in the R16 can also join Consolation event - they need to register before Sunday. Right now we have only 5 people (knocked out in the group stage), and we try to make it 5+3 ish so we can have a nice Swiss.

barmar
olegru and I probably won't finish our R16 until late Saturday or Sunday. I've played our 3rd match, and we can't schedule the last one until he plays his part. I'll be out all day tomorrow (playing in a live bridge tourney). ovncylmz
Consolation first two matches: Match 1mkgnao-antonyleefrank0-stoppiellogordontd-barmarelwood913-m1cha Match 2mkgnao-frank0antonylee-stoppiellogordontd-elwood913barmar-m1cha You guys have one week (Until next Saturday 7pm NY time) to complete your matches. Each match is 12 boards. The game order is not important, so you can send both matches at the same time. Please follow the last workshet "Consolation" in the Dropbox file for the cumulative results. Next week we will add some QF losers (if there is interest) and announce 2 or 3 more matches - based on the speed of the real tournament. [simple rule: Basically if the semi finals are completed by the announcement, will be only 2 matches. Otherwise 2 in the new announcement + 1 after those 2 games completed as the final Swiss round.]

ovncylmz
cherdano - broze. You guys need to finish very soon. Unfortunately we cannot keep you in the tournament if you only play 32boards/week.
broze
cherdano - broze. You guys need to finish very soon. Unfortunately we cannot keep you in the tournament if you only play 32boards/week. Should be done today within the week. I am mostly responsible for the delay - I find it much easier to play on the weekends. I have to say it would be miles easier if the software allowed us to play more than one match at once.
