rmnka447
Pass, we're in a game force and partner gets another bid. So pass should show a minimum and let partner continue to tell his/her story.
gszes
echo pass hardly a horrific hand but not really the kind of hand one would wish to x with. Change spades to Kxx and would be a ton happier with x. Ace is still too much of a slam card opposite my GF and unlimited partner. I have a much tougher decision next round if p x:))))))))
SteveMoe
Double. Optional penalty. Club shortness.

WesleyC
Pass seems routine. In fact I'm slightly curious as to why this was posed as a problem...
Fluffy
http://www.eurobridg...rd=003.17..1210 F. Goded doubled and collected +800 after promoting ♠8. This is due to the heart 3-3 break which allows 6♣ to make as well, but a slam very few reached. With a more standard lie out 500 or 200 would be quite normal I guess
WesleyC
Although it might've worked this time (nice defense), I think your partner's double on this hand has a serious negative IMP expectation in the long run. I would guess more than -2 IMPs/board on average. If you're interested (and can provide me with a range of hands that pass the double) I'd be happy to put together a simulation and test this theory. Perhaps he made the decision to double based on table presence, which I can respect. However I would need a very strong lean to change my position on this hand.
Fluffy
Yeah why not, I also think it was a bad double, but whatever. I would pass with any semi-balanced hand without 4 hearts, maybe even with singleton spade honnor. I could have 4-clubs, but shouldn't have less. The difficult part will be to get the 2♠ range.
