eagles123
from a quick google it seems "R" is king so x seems clear.

eagles123
to be honest imo this is a bit of a wtp, 1n is just a punt (of course it could work) and pass is just totally out of the question. gotta be DOUBLE
Phil
Auto double. This is one of those little trinkets of goodness you pick up from reading these forums for 10 years.
nullve
1N. (Yes, I know I'm supposed to double.)
nige1
♠ 9 6 5 ♥ A 10 3 ♦ K 4 2 ♣ A K Q 4Team Match, all non-vulnerable, Dealer (RHO) opens 1♠. What do you bid (if any)? Close decision. I rankDouble = T/O. Off-shape but OK in the modern game.Pass = NAT. Intending to protect later, in some auctions, given the chance.2♣ = NAT. 5+ cards. A fair description.1N = BAL. When modern players bid notrump, they exhibit a frightening disregard for stops :)

notproven
Double, but I'm wary of showing extras later in the bidding. A Moysian fit in any suit with no shortness will not play well. I have sympathy for 2♣ on the off chance that I'm not on lead, because it is a chunky suit. I'd never consider 1 NT because (as already mentioned), it wrong sides the NT contract. wank
X no, double doesn't show 4 hearts.
rmnka447
Double. Your high cards make up for a lack of shortness in the opponent's suit. You got at least 3 cards in every other suit the prime requirement for a T/O double. So, you are not lying about your holdings.
stevep51
Just double. Yes it would be good to have 4 hearts. It would also be good to be 6 feet tall, young , and handsome. You can't have everything.
