ahydra
[hv=pc=n&s=sakt85h53d9432ct5&n=sj4ha864daq76cak3]133|200[/hv] Matchpoints. After a bidding mixup I found myself in 4S rather than partner playing 3NT. On the lead of the DJ to the Q and K, then D5 return to the 10 and Ace, I played the SJ: Q, A, small, then cashed the King and West showed out. :/ Can you spot the winning line from here? (I expect experts will find it fairly easily.) I ducked a heart to West, won the heart return and ruffed a heart, East discarding a club. Now the D9 was cashed, followed by the fourth diamond: [hv=pc=n&s=st7hd4ct5&n=sh8d7cak3]133|200[/hv] East was holding ♠964 ♥- ♦- ♣Jx at this point, and found himself completely stuck - he opted to ruff, but I won the club return in dummy, cashed the other club and led towards my 10-8 of spades sitting over East's 9-6. Of course, if he doesn't ruff, he gets endplayed. I've known about trump coups for years but that's the first time I've actually managed to pull one off - and earn a top board to boot :) ahydra
johnu
You should have been defeated on the line of play in the spoiler. Cash the ♦9 (RHO must have started with K8x), ♥A, ♣AK, and ruff a club. Exit with heart or last diamond. If you don't cash the ♦9 right away, RHO can pitch a diamond and will be able to ruff the 3rd and 4th round of diamonds, leaving you a trick short. Fluffy
You shouldn't had duck any trick, third club is just as good to get a ruff than the heart.

gszes
5.Cash D9.6&7.A,K OF Clubs.8.HA.9.Ruff a Club.1O.Exit a Heart. This lop offers the least chances for rho to ruff in early before we are ready to try and ruff a club small. We cannot make this if rho does not have at least 2 clubs and 1 heart and by playing our diamond winner at trick 5 rho has no opportunity to pitch losing diamond. Fluffy
5.Cash D9.6&7.A,K OF Clubs.8.HA.9.Ruff a Club.1O.Exit a Heart. Advancing ♥A is not neccesary, East has at least 13 cards, he can't pitch all his hearts on third club.
