chasetb
At only 1 of the 16 tables was the correct lead of the ♠4 made. Everywhere else, it was either the ♥3 (2 + mine) or the ♠K (the other 12).[hv=sn=chasetb&s=SJ862HA98DK3C8764&wn=Robot&w=SA9HK76DQ652CAK95&nn=Robot&n=SKQ543HJ43D84CQ32&en=Robot&e=ST7HQT52DAJT97CJT&d=w&v=b&b=20&a=1N%28notrump%20opener.%20Could%20have%205M.%20--%202-5%20!C%3B%202-5%20!D%3B%202-5%20!H%3B%202-5%20!S%3B%2015-17%20HCP%3B%2018-%20total%20points%29P2C%28Stayman%20--%29P2D%28No%20major%20suits%20--%202-5%20!C%3B%202-5%20!D%3B%202-3%20!H%3B%202-3%20!S%3B%2015-17%20HCP%3B%2018-%20total%20points%29P2N%28Invite%20to%203NT%2C%20may%20not%20have%204-card%20major%20--%209%20HCP%29P3N%282-5%20!C%3B%202-5%20!D%3B%202-3%20!H%3B%202-3%20!S%3B%2016-17%20HCP%3B%2018-%20total%20points%29PPP&p=H3H5HAH6S2S9SQSTS5S7SJSAH7H4HQH8CJC4C5CQSKD7S6D2S3D9S8D5H9HKHJHTD6D8DAD3H2C6DQC2CTC7CAC3CKD4DTC8C9S4DJDK]400|300[/hv] *Yes, I never put GIB on 5 and needing to keep my ♠2 to get back to its hand. Whoops, I would have thought GIB would have led the suit!!!
1eyedjack
I find it interesting that there was any divergence at all in the opening leads, regardless of their merits. That means that the auctions were different from your auction at 12 other tables. And yet yours is he sensible auction and only the human South who has absolutely nothing to say, can influence the matter.
chasetb
Actually, the auction was the exact same in 14 of 16 cases. West (Human) passed 2NT at one table, for -1. At the other table a crazy South bid 2♦ over 2♣.
iandayre
So you are playing with a Robot partner and opponents, but at other tables humans are in other seats? Just curious, what type of tournament is this?
Bbradley62
So you are playing with a Robot partner and opponents, but at other tables humans are in other seats? Just curious, what type of tournament is this? Those conditions mean that it was played in the Main (or Relaxed) Bridge Club, where there can be advanced GIB and basic GIB, and older versions and current versions, and varying time settings by folks with the download version of BBO.
