erniecohen
Has BBO collected statistics such as the following? If so, where can they be found? - In an N-board MP game (with all GIB robots except for 1 human), what percentage of people will score at least P%? (E.g., what percentage of human score 70% on a 16-board game?) What is the limit as N grows large? - In a long "just play bridge" session, you can measure performance by total points per board (or IMPs per board, if you are playing an IMP game with robots). Again, what is the distribution of people by this performance measure? (e.g., what percentage of players average 300 pts profit per board?) thanks, ernie
barmar
We only have two values of N: 8 and 12. We do run some 18-board robot duplicates, but they get very few entries, so any statistics from them would be highly suspect. So I'm not sure how we could extrapolate how the score distribution changes as N grows large. We have all the tournament results archived, so we could calculate statistics for the two values of N. But we haven't done so as far as I know.
