mike777
I thought this was a wonderful play lesson hand for us non-experts.6CClub lead: AQXXX=XX=AJXX=K9..DUMMY XX=AKXX=X=AQJT87 (YOU) Partial strip and endplay is something that comes up often enough for us to think of at table and leave finesse for last. Trumpace
That's a good lead! Otherwise I could just play for 2 heart ruffs. Anyway maybe is this what you had in mind?:: Assuming 3-2 clubs. Win the lead (anywhere..), Diamond to Ace, diamond ruff, AK hearts, Heart ruff, diamond ruff, draw trumps and lead a heart. Hopefully the guy who wins the heart will have to lead a spade giving me an extra chance. If clubs turn out 4-1, I will probably just take the spade finesse, too afraid to lose control of the hand. ::
flytoox
Would it be better to lead a small sapde from dummy in the 2nd round? If Sk is off will he dare to duck his SK? If he takes SK I can make 6C. If he doesnt, there is strong reason to believe sk is on side.
