Matchpoints. You can double 4 if you wish.

You lead 6 - 2 - 10 - A.

You duck declarer's K, then win A next time as partner pitches 4.

Figuring that shows good clubs, you switch to 5 - 9 - 10 - A.

Declarer now leads 9. And you?

You showed 2 in dummy. Would your partner open 2nd seat unfavorable vul 2 on QJTxxx x xx QTxx? I hope not. You have 3 trump tricks, and if K wins, it is down one. The solution seems to be ruff 9 and play small club to partner's marked Q. If that wins, down one,if declarer ruffs, partner is 6=1=2=4 and you have to hope partner indeed has the Qx doubleton. If you pitch, you will be endplayed and forced to leads fromT8 into declarer's J9 at trick 12. You win 2 and a diamond, not enough.

At MP I double 100% of time here.

Too many trumps ...

While it looks right right to pitch a club, on the actual you have to ruff in, to shorten your trumps.

If declarer is 2-6-4-1 as in this layout, ruffing in does not give declarer a useful pitch.

You make your three natural trump tricks plus a diamond at the end.

If you pitch a club instead, declarer ruffs two clubs then plays A-another, to win the last two tricks with J-9 for +420.

If declarer is 2-6-3-2, you are safe whether you ruff in or not, assuming partner has the Q.
