NS play standard signals. Lead is DA, DK and another diamond. All follow. From a recent Team match.

Fluffy
I unblock ♦Q, but what happens on the third diamond? and on ♠K?
broze
I unblock ♦Q, but what happens on the third diamond? and on ♠K? All follow to three diamonds. All follow to first spade (west plays the 10)
phil_20686
If the diamond gets ruffed you have no chance basically, so assume that you win it. In that case you are cold if the spades are 3-2. Given the bidding, the strongest line looks like playing three rounds of spades then four rounds of clubs ruffing the last club and if rho can overruff the fourth club you need to hope that he is endplayed with the heart J. If he refuses to overruff you can win by endplaying him when he has Jtxx Jxx xxx xxx. Doubt you can pick up 0-5.

How can you endplay when he refuses to overruff if you have already cashed three spades and ruffed a club?
KurtGodel
You play two rounds of spades rather than three, then you can cross back to hand and if he refuses to ruff clubs you can put him in with a trump. Naturally when a heart comes back you play low from hand.

KurtGodel
You also need to be more precise. B-)After three rounds of diamonds I play a top spade from hand, a top club from hand, a spade to dummy, a club up, ruff a club. A spade back to hand, play a club, if this isn't ruffed exit in trumps.

The only card I changed from the real deal was South's hearts to Q3 instead of Q8 to punish lazy declarers. You can figure why
KurtGodel
I was going to post the solution when you posted this, but thought it must be a trick!

How can you endplay when he refuses to overruff if you have already cashed three spades and ruffed a club? So you play ace of spades and K of spades to maintain transport, then play the ak of clubs and ruff the third club, then play a third round of trumps and the club Q. Then endplay him with the last spade.
