helene_t
The problem on BBO is that people often do other things. Such as chat on Facebook etc.I am more likely to chat on facebook if my hand is boring. That could explain why I am more likely to tank when I don't hold an honour.
thearb
had the best one yet today. http://tinyurl.com/ox4efhr S9 ducked in a flash, ST equally as fast. DT at least 5 seconds delay before following. Every subsequent card played in a flash. I should of course realise it is a singleton and finesse accordingly. Hilarious! oryctolagi
I haven't enabled the 'autoplay singleton' feature. Indeed, after reading through this thread, I don't feel inclined to. I'd even go so far as to say, could this feature be withdrawn please, seeing as it seems to serve no useful purpose? The only exceptions I'd admit are (1) cards played from dummy, and (2) when playing the very last trick. In which cases, of course, there should be no delay. The number of times when, as declarer, I've forgotten to play the final card from dummy, and wondered why the score doesn't pop up! (In live bridge, of course, my partner would normally play the card...)

There's always the remote chance you might gain the lead, and then have to figure out what honours your partner holds (especially if you haven't been paying attention). :D

It's frequently slower than my normal tempo. It's also disabled on the first trick, to give you a chance to plan the play/defense before playing.
