tendol
Assume SAYC conventions. Here is a link to a board: My link North hand has a void in Club. The south hand has a void in diamond. How does one bid a slam in such situation? If North opens 1 Diamond, can a slam be reached? What would be the bidding like? Cyberyeti
I would open 1♦. I don't play SAYC so not sure if 4th suit is GF there but I will assume it is. 1♦-1♥1♠-2♣(4SF GF)2♠-3♠(better than 4♠)5♣(exclusion)-5♠(2 without Q)6♠ After you've shown 6 diamonds and 5 spades 5♣ must be a void, the only question is whether you give exclusion responses.
