It is clear partner typically has (at most) 2 spades on this auction and that partner does not have too many clubs (since I have 5 and LHO has at least 5). What's more, partner has only modest honor values since I have a very sound minimum range opening bid and the opponents crawled toward game (suggesting they have slightly more than half of the deck's honor values). Yet partner bid a suit freely. Weak hand and free bid suggests that partner's suit is a pretty good one.
