1eyedjack
Under leaky canvas in Cornwall, by all accounts just heading into the Great Storm of 2015. Should tweet this really but never got the hang of Twitter. Might create a new BBO account. If you see DrownedRat playing tomorrow it will be me. kenberg
Dear Drowned Rat. The storm has not yet made news over here. A name is needed. I think Cecil sounds good, but Cecil the Lion has already grabbed that one. Maybe Christine, after Christine Keeler who caused a rucks some fifty years ago. I can see it now "This is Drowned Rat, bringing you the full story of Christine". You will need an agent to handle your appearances on the telly. Cyberyeti
Memories of a school camping trip aged about 10 in Dorset where some of the tents were blown up a 1 in 5 slope with their occupants inside.
1eyedjack
So far a bit of a damp squib rather than great storm. One month's rainfall over about 18 hours but no high winds. Emptied a can of neverwet over all exposed seams and all waking hours in pub with pack of cards does the trick. Exactly four of us so that's all good. It appears that the entire population of Cornwall had the same idea as us and descended on the Eden Project for the day. (Google it and you will see why)
