goffster
When the robots played against me, they took a very saneline of play. Do I have to pay extra to get them to playthe hand like this ? http://tinyurl.com/pgtrohn

goffster
Would you tell us its exact playing time? basic robot or advanced? ACBL tournament? This was an robot tourney. Assume advanced robot
Bbradley62
It could be something as simple as: if you led ♦K, declarer knew you had ♦AK and could plan better than against this declarer, who led ♦A then switched, concealing the K. goffster
What are the leading conventions of robots? It would be nice if GIB could provide implications of playingone card over another in the same way that it does bidding conventions. This would be true throughout the hand. In general, I find that its carding throughout the hand tends to besomewhat "whatever is closest to its thumb" in critical situations. Not that it's relevant, but GIB's convention card says he leads K from both AK and KQ. When you lead K and he sees Q in dummy... Of course, we all know that GIB doesn't actually lead in accordance with his own convention card, which says that against NT he leads Q from KQT9 and top of 3 small. In fact, he does neither. But, this may be different than expecting you to lead appropriately.
