billw55
At equal I'll hold back to only 5♦. This also gives them another losing option, to stop in 5 when slam is on.
PhilKing
PASS Without discussion, I would be worried that partner's double was showing the majors.
eagles123
you have 100% agreed that X shows diamonds, sorry should've said in op
ggwhiz
I would like to steal their double fit with a 3♠ bid. 2 won't do it unless playing against aunt Dolly.
rmnka447
Let them make the tough decision at a high level -- I'm bidding 5 ♦. We've got a big fit and I have complimentary distribution in a stiff ♠ and a decent ♣ holding.
eagles123
haha ok I went 7d it was against bots i wasnt really concentrating and went 5 off when it should've been 4 6s is cold for opps anyway cheers Eagles
SteveMoe
4N over 2♣ please.Double of 2♦ is ♦ so 6♦ it is.
jodepp
I really like the previous comment on the ways 5♦ can win. I'd be willing to let the opps play 5M when they have a slam. I can understand an immediate unusual NT call (at any level one likes). I hope it doesn't blow the match hen partner has majors...:)

lycier
I think there is little of reasonal principle which can be discussed in the most of hands with very abnormal distributions
WesleyC
+1 for direct action over 2C. Once partner shows diamonds, I would settle for 5D which puts as much pressure as possible without risking -800.
apollo1201
It is funny, it reminds me of a deal where the auction came back on my 2nd turn at 6S after partner doubled a D artificial bid, and I bid 7 with a similar hand (long D and a secondary suit). Opponents had a misunderstanding about forcing passes and went down 1 (partner had a side ace) so we got a top. On the other direction the top was for those who played 5S making 6 as 7DX scores less. I would have never bid 6 on 5 thinking they were 1 level too low.Nevertheless (and apologies for this long digression), I will also bid 5D. On my 1st turn I would bid 4NT at favorable only, but give me a little more green vs green, I dont want to be unnecessarily 500 down.
