Phil
I'd hop Ace. Kxx is a dangerous lead since LHO has no information about the J and it's likely dummy is coming down with the A. If they led from Kx, WDO. In addition a lead away from a K in an unbid suit is safer than a bid suit and I think LHO has the cK. I'll play LHO for 3415 and hook the spade and either make 5 or fail in 4. This looks like a normal contract that even the bunnies will reach. monikrazy
Finesse for me. There doesn't seem to be enough information from the auction and lead to conclude the diamond is a singleton (opener may only have 3). Do we think our opponent doubled with 2-5-1--5 or 2-4-1-6? For the first, wouldn't unusual NT be a better bid? And for the 2nd wouldn't a 2C overcall be better?
akwoo
Can the 2 be from 742 according to opponent's agreements? Is LHO known to routinely lead from 742? I'll go A if LHO leading from 742 is possible and low otherwise. If LHO does have ♦742 it's likely to look much better than leading away from the ♣K, the ♥A or the ♠Q. I think a 4-0 diamond split is almost as likely as a singleton on the left.
bigbenvic
Because west doubled he's more likely to hold the A♥, so Dk ruff heart to the A ruff is less of a fear than if they hadn't doubled. Could still happen but for East to hold K♦and A♥ and west to double would be just cruel. I expect trick 1 to get ruffed some of the time too so rising Ace could be doubly fatal.
