Air 2 iPod Problems

Hi

I've just installed the BBO app on my new Air 2 iPad.

 

Please tell me whether the following are available:

 

I can't Undo

I can't set up hand parameters for creating deals for bidding practice

I can't load my lin or pbn files (I remember that lin were ok but not pbn I think) for just bidding

 

Maybe they are not available for the latest iPads - if so it is a shame.

Hi Jeannie, and welcome to the Forums.

 

The ipad app doesn't allow creating bidding or teaching tables yet. It's not possible to set constraints or upload prepared deals on the app at the moment, sorry. You can join a training table created by someone on a desktop computer, but you cannot host it and control it on the app.

 

Undo appears in the Table menu, when allowed. So if a table allows undo, this option will become visible. It does not show when not at a table, or in a tourney where undo is disallowed which may explain why you weren't able to see it yet.

Many thanks - I will try setting up on a laptop and using 2 iPads!

If I set up a bidding practice on my laptop and load up an lin file, and 2 people with iPads join it, will they be able to bid those hands - or do I need to be in teaching mode to do this?
