I've certainly played with people who wouldn't open Axxx xxx AKxx xx; i need to open 1♥ opposite this partner. Also, partner might not make the law raise from 2♥ to 4♥ if 4th seat passes, though perhaps that's a good thing unless they have a club singleton.
