I've searched BBO but there doesn't seem to be much info about this situation.

Does X show 4 hearts. What about higher intervention, presumably that requirement diminishes the higher you get ?

4c Major setting - is it any different under 5cM.

IMO 4 = 10, 4 = 8, 3N = 7, 3 = 6, Pass = 5.

System cards often have a box headed "Negative doubles to". Partnerships opt for any level from 2 to 7. Partnerships also seem to have different agreements as to whether a negative double promises 4+ s and to what level. As Wanoff implies many partnerships have no firm agreements and, for them, this should be an important discussion topic.

FWIW, IMO, a negative double shouldn't promise 4s, even at a low level. The message is that your hand is unsuitable for a game-force or a pass but you have no sensible bid.

We must show our hand that in spade has 4 honors for a suit as of 6 cards, in heart a just and also strong support for probable partner suit(=trump), in diamond values(=control) than excuding NT(=no stopper in club) and bidding at level with a light forceness 4 (=points in three suits) should show this nice hand.
