Finch Posted April 23, 2015 Report Share Posted April 23, 2015 I think 3H and then 4D (if partner bids 3NT) is more like a 6-4 in the pointed suits; 3H was looking for spade support. MinorKid Posted April 26, 2015 Report Share Posted April 26, 2015 3♥. It is better than 4♦ as most of the chance partner would had bid 5♦ over your 4♦. After 3♥:If he bid 5♦ then pass. If part bid 4♦ now you can launch RKC redwood or blackwood. If he bid 3NT or 4♣ you can pull 4♦, hope he launch RKC redwood or blackwood himself. If he bid 3♠, then raise ♠.
