We played and recorded the same robodupe today and vidchung totally humiliated me. The idea being I am going to want to hook the heart (as LHO has 5 spades to RHOs 1), but I'm also going to need the ace of hearts entry to hook the diamond. Cashing the spade prematurely risks LHO having a spade winner, hooking the diamond first before playing on hearts risks them setting up the diamonds and getting in with the heart later and cashing some diamonds...). But at what point do you know that LHO has 5 spades (it can cost to play the T if LHO started with a stiff)? I see all kinds of funky short suit leads by GIB vs notrump, what is your experience.
