mgoetze
Good to see they are finally optimizing the bots for matchpoints. ;)
cherdano
Did you drop some tricks the previous boards, maybe?
steve2005
But seriously Gib seems to decide it's strong enough to reverse and opens lower suit but then never shows 2nd suit cause later decides not strong enough. got to have a plan from start. helene_t
Presumably the problem is that the club suit is not rebidable. Fair enough but then it should open 1d. But preparing for a rebid is maybe too much of a can of worms.

It is a best option for opener to open 1♦ first, then bid 2♣,other option is worse, isn't it?I think that opening 1♣ mistakenly shows its defect of the current Gib bidding system.
johnu
Looks pretty balanced for a 6-5 hand.
georgi
Thanks for reporting. There was a bug preventing GIB to rebid its minor with impossible reverse strength but highly unbalanced. So 1NT was found by mistake.

So 1NT was found by mistake. I beg you pardon.I really don't believe it is the truth for what you said, never !I have been playing with/against Gib many many hands,I have found that it seems that Gib always open longest suit - whatever it is major or minor. So I have to say opening 1♣ mistakenly shows its defect of the current Gib bidding system,it isn't a bug to cause it.
