If 3♣ promised 17- HCP why am I suddenly promising 20 points with 3♠? And much more importantly why does he ask for aces with 0 keycards and then just assume I have them all? Everyone knows that first you need to bid 5♠ to give partner a chance to pass and to show his brilliant deductive abilities and bid on with all five.

The 3♣ description is cut off... it doesn't say "17- HCP"; it says "17-20 total points", without mentioning HCP. Then, 3♠ shows a max.

Ah OK in that case it's a bad system. You should be able to manage a range of 17-20 with the 3♠ bid, not just a maximum.

 

Just as an aside, I also don't think 3♥ should show 4 hearts per se nor even 5 spades. Partner might have something like

in which case you want to show a heart stop asking partner what he thinks about diamonds. Most know that 3♣ denies 4 hearts (as a minimum reverse to 2♥ is not stronger than a minimum jump rebid so you might as well show your hearts if you have them) so we can afford 3♥ to be semi-artificial.

Yes, 5N is a big blunder apparently Gib is the only computer that can't count up to 4. Is it possible Gib thought you were showing 2 or 5 KC?! Even so it should be 5♠ and you would go on with 5 KC.

 

4N in my opinion is the real problem! First off all trump has been agreed as ♠ so it should be Keycard not straight Blackwood. Secondly why is Gib going for a slam? It's a minimum, sure it has an extra ♠ but the quality is nothing to get excited about. Thirdly, even if it did have a passed hand interested in slam it should cuebid and let the strong hand take control (captaincy).

It is keycard for ♠, the description always says blackwood though. The (S) signifies that it is agreeing spades.

Ok, I didn't know that. Then it took opener for 5 KC.

 

A while back there was a fix where if bidder showed 1/4 or 0/3 and Gib not sure was suppose to sign-off in 5 then partner bids slam with 3/4. I guess this wasn't implemented for 2/5 responses.

 

But I stand by my previous post that Gib had no business bidding 4N, especially with 0 KC.

There is nothing wrong with your bidding. 1C, 3C, and 3C are all straight-forward, obvious choices. You are completely correct that showing the 3 card S fit should not require a maximum for your previous bids. 4NT by the bot is simply an insanely aggressive action
